Mariana Trench is the fourth single from Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was, Bright Eyes' tenth studio album released on August 21, 2020.

The music video was created from 2,200 hand-illustrated ink paintings, based on original 3D animation and archival footage. Made across 18 different bedrooms around the world—while listening to Bright Eyes and keeping each other company—we had the chance to collaborate on a story about embracing and celebrating change.
